Eric Algoe

Eric Algoe has served as the executive vice president for operations and chief financial officer at Texas State University since 2015. He oversees all of the financial, physical, safety, and human resources. He also currently serves as president of the Texas Association of College and University Business Officers.

Algoe formerly served as associate vice president for finance and administration at Florida State University and as vice president for finance and administration at Ohio Wesleyan University. His career has focused on public service and mission-driven nonprofits, including 15 years of service as a military intelligence and civil affairs officer in the United States Army and Army Reserve.

Algoe holds a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin University (OH) and a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. He is also a certified public manager and a graduate of the Governor’s Executive Development Program at the University of Texas.
